I made my second trip to San Miguel de Allende, in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, from January 10th thru the 21st, 2008. It was great to get back to México again.

This time I sorta knew my way around and found many new areas to explore. I couldn't get to them all, so there are still many available for the next trip.

I stayed at a B&B, Casa de la O, only a few blocks off the jardin. That made it a lot easier to get around el centro and to take a quick siesta during a busy day. Plus, Lilia was a warm, welcoming host.

Mi amiga Maria Teresa from my first trip to San Miguel was also back in el pueblo, along with her two amigas Victoria y Gianna. My neighbors Diane and Gayla arrived about halfway through my time in San Miguel. And the other guests at the B&B were fun to meet. Sharing my Mexico trip with all of them made it much more interesting and enjoyable.

While I was in San Miguel this time I kept a blog of all my daily activities. I also took a ton of photos. See the links at the top of this page.

It was a great trip. The only bad part was leaving. I hope I can return to San Miguel de Allende sometime soon.
